The percent contribution was calculated from MA Department of Education records found on the DOE web site. The Fiscal Year 2008 numbers were added from this year's budget Resolution 07-19 as passed on May 3, 2007. Hard copy picked up at the meeting.
FY08 is shown twice:
- Once without the override (FY08) .
- Once with the override factored in (FY08 O) (assuming the $2.1 million does flow to the school budget as discussed multiple times).
This chart raises the question: How much does Franklin value the education of its own?
I think it also implies that Franklin better start planning to pay its own way. How much longer will the Commonwealth of Massachusetts provide assistance?
