Franklin's first library may not last

The final budget will be voted upon Thursday night May 3 by the Town Council. Some of the councilors expressed concern about the change to reduce the funding for the library. As mentioned previously, reducing the funding will kick in a series of dominoes that by reducing the hours, will remove the state certification, and eventually also remove the capability of Franklin residents to use the inter-library loan. The library will remain open 4 days per week and the circulation will be limited to books within the collection.

So Franklin's voters have a choice.

The quality of life we want in Franklin needs to be voted on.

Get informed, vote May 22.
