Watching the School Dept presentation to the Town Council Wednesday night, they have presented a "level service" budget. To go from "level service" to "level funding" would require a reduction of approx. $6 M. To obtain this reduction, given other budget requirements would require a reduction in personnel of about 100.
We need "level service" to just maintain the kind of quality education is provided to our Franklin students.
