He'll scamper to a branch and either sit there to munch. Or run with it back to the interior of the tree (out of sight?) and munch.
I used my telephoto to grab these shots of him in action from the second floor window and from the porch window. He was so intent upon eating that the squeak of the window screen didn't disturb him.
When you are focused on job search tasks, do you let anything disturb you?
