Thankfulness and a wish

There is so much to be thankful for amidst these days.
Family members to be proud of doing good things.
A growing host of connections and network buddies, also doing good things.

A wish, a birthday wish. Actually three.

First - good health for all, especially those of the greatest generation. In particular, our fathers, who have been our guides. They are struggling with a myriad of health issues as they advance in age.

Second - for those struggling in these economic times, the 99's and others still looking for valid work. May they find the hope and support to continue their search.

Third - take a moment today to support your local food pantry or food bank. They are different operations but have one goal to provide necessary food for those in need. The Franklin Food Pantry has a Google Checkout button to enable an easy monetary donation. Scroll all the way down to the base of the home page to find it.  http://franklinfoodpantry.org/

Note: I am on the Board of Directors for the Food Pantry and will be revising the website to make it easier to use for those we serve as well as those who would like to help (like you).
