Saturday

Saturday, end of the week, start of the weekend. Day for errands, chores around the house, catching up on those things that need to get done that you couldn't get to during the work week.

Can be approached with a little more leisure, don't have to punch the clock at a specific time - but do have to get things accomplished.

Time to go.

Job searching notes - tell what you did for your company

One of series of tips from a local networking group of folks who are or have been at one time looking for new work. These are considerations; one might provide a disclaimer that the mileage on these suggestions may vary. Through the sharing and collaboration, these may at least spark some useful thought process that will ultimately lead you to a successful position.

Be able to state what you did for your company. What cost efficiencies you delivered. What projects on time, on budget. What break through you achieved for them. Yes, you did it. Maybe alone, maybe as part of a larger team. But you did it your company. Your next company will need to hear that because this is what you are going to be able to do for them.
