New Year Blessing

Let me share this as we start the new year:

Lord, we give you thanks and praise
for allowing us to share this day
to share life and love with family and friends
to share the gifts we have recieved
to recognize perhaps gifts we have but have not yet understood

We ask you to continue to watch over and guide us
give us the strength to do your will this day
