It's official - Override money added to budget

As expected, the Proposition 2 1/2 override will provide an additional $2.14 million for the school district in the coming fiscal year and restore $270,000 to the library budget to avoid staff and service reductions. The remaining funds will be used to pay for library staff health insurance and unemployment for school and town workers still slated for layoffs for financial reasons.
From Michael Morton's article in the Franklin Gazette. Also from the same article, this catches my eye.
Although the $35,000 town audit covered the schools, Councilor Michael LeBlanc suggested the council pay for another study to examine the school district more closely for "budget anomalies."
Gee, isn't this the same guy who took a cheap shot at the School Committee recently?

What is with Franklin's elected officials?

There is certainly a competitive spirit. Where is the collaboration needed to address our issues?
